National Geographic Diver Course
We have all marveled at the spectacular underwater images on National Geographic television programs. Now with the PADI National Geographic Dive program, you have the opportunity to actively explore and conserve our planet.
National Geographic and PADI work together to raise awareness and educate others about marine conservation through increased participation in the sport of diving. Founded in 1888, the National Geographic Society is one of the world’s largest non profit scientific and educational organisations.
Blue Planet Aquarium National Geographic specialty
The Blue Planet Aquarium National Geographic specialty runs over two days with students completing dives at an open water site as well as in our main Caribbean Reef Exhibit.
This unique weekend gives divers the opportunity to experience two completely different marine environments from cool northern seas to the calm clear waters of the Caribbean in just one weekend, whilst learning how to make the most of their diving and how best to preserve it for future generations.
The course will take the divers exploration skills to new levels by collecting data to construct a visual representation of what they explore. With the help of our instructors, you will gain advanced navigational skills that will aide you in the exploration process which in turn will give you a new appreciation for the aquatic environment and add enjoyment to each dive. Over the weekend, you will fine-tune your buoyancy, navigation, exploration and observation skills thus becoming a true underwater ambassador!!
